My painting, Sunflower Magic, was selected for the Standing with Ukraine special exhibition at the Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen in Richmond, Virginia. The show runs from August 1st through August 31st. You can read more about the exhibition here. This is my first time exhibiting at the Cultural Center located at 2880 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. It is a wonderful space with with multiple galleries, class rooms, and a theater. This exhibition was designed to allow artists "to show love and support for Ukraine and its amazing people during this horrific time of war." The Cultural Arts Center will donate its share of the commission made on the sale of any artwork in the exhibition to World Central Kitchen which is feeding Ukrainians in need. I will also donate and extra 10% of the $2200 sale price if my painting is purchased. in addition, I was honored to have my painting selected to be used on the promotional material for the exhibition.
