I created a painting and a sculpture for this year's Caribbean Colour Show. The theme was "Dream in Green" and for my painting, I decided to continue my Carnival Dancer Series with a green costumed dancer surrounded by local flora and fauna. "Tropical Dreams" is a 30x40 inch Acrylic painting. It received third place in the Viewers Choice Awards. For my sculpture I was attracted to the dreamy aspect of large topiary bushes. I decided to create my own out of wire and artificial plants using mostly donated and recycled leaves and flowers. Many friends and family donated materials both here on the island and back on the mainland. A Green Iganua seemed to be the perfect choice for the theme of this year's show. The end result was "Iguana Dream" which won the Viewers Choice Best In Show Award.
